Privacy Policy

The short version

The calculators run entirely in your browser. The name and birth date you type are never sent to us, and there is nowhere for them to go: every page here is a static file, and the site runs exactly one server endpoint, whose only job is to check whether a licence key is valid.

No accounts. No email gate. No ads. One third-party script loads on our pages, Google Analytics, and you can switch it off for your device with a single link below.

What we collect

Nothing from the calculators. The numbers you work out stay in your browser. They are not logged, stored, or transmitted.

Analytics. Google Analytics 4 loads on every page of the live site. It records which pages are opened, roughly where in the world the request came from, what browser and device you are on, and a short list of our own events: an offer block scrolling into view, a button click, a share link being followed. Those events are barred from carrying a name, a birth date, a chart, a licence key, or any reading text, and the rule is enforced in the code that defines them rather than left to good intentions.

Google gives your browser a random identifier so that two visits from you count as one visitor. That is tracking across sessions, and this page said the opposite until 11 August 2026. It was wrong.

Server logs. The site is hosted on Vercel, which records standard request logs: IP address, URL, browser type, and the time of the request. Retention is Vercel's, under their policy, not something we set.

Anything you email us. Write to hello@numeluna.com and we have your address and your message, sitting in a mailbox. There is no mailing list to add you to.

What's stored in your browser

Three small things, all of them on your device, none of them sent to us:

• theme: whether you chose light or dark.
• ga-optout: present only if you used the analytics opt-out below.
• nl.yp.keys.v1: if you have bought a reading, the licence key you already verified, so you don't have to retype it on that device.

Google Analytics stores its own cookies alongside those, which is where its random visitor identifier lives.

On the reading pages, your chart travels in the part of the URL after the#. Browsers never send that part to a server, which is what lets the reading be a page you can return to without us ever holding your name or your birth date.

Advertising: there isn't any

No ad network, no sponsored posts, no affiliate links. The site is paid for by one optional paid reading, which is the whole business model.

Your choices

• Turn analytics off for this device: open numeluna.com/?ga-optout=1 once and nothing further is counted from this browser. It survives a change of network or IP address; ?ga-optout=0 turns it back on.
• Google's own opt-out: a browser add-on that blocks Google Analytics everywhere, not only here: tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout
• Browser-level controls: every browser can block or clear cookies and site data. Clearing ours costs you a theme preference and, if you have bought a reading, one remembered licence key.

Numeluna itself holds no personal data about you. There are no accounts, no stored inputs, and no server-side user records to hand over or delete. If you are in the European Economic Area and want to exercise GDPR rights over data a third party collected here (Google Analytics, or Gumroad if you bought something), those requests go to that provider directly. If you buy a reading

The payment is Gumroad's. They take the card, issue the receipt, and hold your email address as the buyer. We never see card details. Their privacy policy governs what they do with the rest.

What our server is told. When you unlock a reading, the page sends our one endpoint two things: your licence key, and a one-way signature derived from your chart. Not your name. Not your birth date.

What we keep. One row per licence key: the key, and the chart signature it was first used with. That is what stops a key that has been shared from opening somebody else's reading. It lives in a hosted key-value store (Upstash) and contains no name, no birth date, and no part of the reading itself.

The reading is assembled in your browser from the chart in the URL, which is why we can sell you a reading without ever holding the details it is built from.

Third-party services

The complete list of outside services involved in running this site. Nothing else loads on a Numeluna page.

• Google Analytics: on every page; described above. policies.google.com/privacy
• Vercel: hosting and request logs. vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy
• Google Fonts: on the two reading pages only, which fetch a few type weights from Google's font servers. Your browser's request tells Google your IP address and browser. Every other page on the site serves its fonts from here.
• Gumroad: payments, and only if you buy something. gumroad.com/privacy
• Upstash: the licence-key store described above. No personal data reaches it.

If we add anything to that list, this page changes in the same breath and the date at the top moves.

Children

Numeluna is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we'll remove it.

Changes to this policy

We'll update this page if anything material changes and revise the date at the top. We won't send you a notice, but then, we don't have your email address, so that was never on the table.
